Emerge SWFL Partners with Community Leaders to Unite Local Economy via Free Virtual Expo
—
FORT MYERS, FL — Emerge SWFL is hosting a free virtual expo with one goal: to reinvigorate the local economic landscape. By connecting people to businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations across Southwest Florida, Emerge provides a much-needed service to the business community — a safe way for people to network, interact and explore opportunities as if they were in a convention center or expo hall.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 25 and provides three unique virtual expo halls along with nine keynote speakers.
Supporting partners of Emerge SWFL include Lee County EDO, Lee Health, United Way, FGCU, FSW, SBDC, Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, and Estero Chamber of Commerce among others.
Organizing sponsors include SWFRTP, Stickboy, Two39 Group, and Fieldr. These companies and dozens more make up the large coalition of local businesses working together to support the SWFL community through challenging times.
“Being born and raised in Fort Myers, I am passionate about the economic health of our community and the success of local businesses,” says Jordan Azis, Founder of Emerge SWFL. “The world is forcing us to change how we interact with people and foster business relationships, we have to be willing to innovate and adapt with the times. More importantly, we must come together as a community and lend a hand to our neighbors for the greater good of the SWFL economy.”
In late March, Emerge SWFL launched an easy-to-navigate website (www.emergeswfl.com) where users can find community resources, information and links to COVID-19 related updates, as well as a directory of SWFL organizations that are donating free services to local companies affected by the pandemic. Emerge is stepping up in a big way to help local business owners and executives save money on services such as technology, human resources, marketing and more by leveraging their vast network of partners.
The Emerge SWFL Virtual Expo is an opportunity to showcase those partners and bring awareness to significant initiatives happening right in our backyard. The event provides an expo-style virtual gathering to bridge the gap for professionals who want to get more involved with chambers, associations, non-profits or any other organizations that resonate with them.
Attendees can meet and mingle with SWFL community leaders who are stimulating the next wave of economic boom that is on the horizon. There will also be local businesses that are donating free services and local funds and foundations for those inclined to donate. Explore the halls of the Emerge SWFL Virtual Expo to discover a diverse array of organizations to learn about and get involved.
